I found the grounds fine. During walks, i encountered orangutans. They have gibbons and red leaf monkeys too, SOMETIMES right outside my hut! i cooled off in the plunge pool. A short walk led to the orangutan and sunbear sanctuaries..

the chalet was a longish walk. Building was going on in some areas and the pathway was a bit dodgy. At night, some lights did not work, requiring phone torches.

Uneven Experience, Some Issues Noted

The lack of climate control in the dormitory room was noticeable. There was only a fan available. The bathroom was not clean when my friend and I arrived. It seemed it had not been cleaned after the last guest. Black mold was also present on the bathroom ceiling.

The staff was helpful and friendly.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness in the dorm room was not good (I was in the female dorm). The bathroom was not cleaned when I arrived with my friend. Black mold was present on the bathroom ceiling, which i found disappointing

The location is GREAT and right on the rainforest edge. The chalets are big and clean. The staff were very good too. I LOVED the food at the restaurant, so fresh and tasty.

the tours they provide are just a driver, a REALLY overpriced driver. I wanted a guide, not a driver.

i found the resort offered separate chalets. quietness and privacy were very good benefits. the restaurant area featured lovely views. staff members were always friendly and eager to assist with any needs.

during the evenings, i noticed some lights around the resort were not working. this made walking on the boardwalk slightly challenging. i needed to use a torch to navigate safely.

the staff provided service with smiles and efficiency, offering assistance with tours and transportation. i was particularly impressed with their ability to arrange a seamless trip to see proboscis monkeys. they ensured every detail of my tour went smoothly.
